AstroNuts Mission Three

AstroNuts Mission Three

Illustrated by Steven Weinberg

This is it – the last mission, the last chance for the AstroNuts to find a new Goldilocks planet (not too hot, not too cold, but just right) for humans to move to. Earth is cooked. Literally. Her ice caps are melting. Her oceans are overheating. Plant and animal species are dying. And humans keep adding more and more carbon into Earth’s carbon-over-polluted atmosphere.

The AstroNuts are about to blast off for the very promising-looking, and very delicious-sounding Pizza Planet. But their NNASA secret group leader Command Escape finds an even better planet. A Perfect Planet.

Don’t tell anyone, but the perfect planet is the one we have. Before one species discovered fire, and started burning fuel that put carbon into Earth’s atmosphere. But wouldn’t that mean the AstroNuts would need a special vehicle to travel back in time? And wouldn’t that be dangerous? And possibly destroy time, space, and the Universe as we know it?

Official NNASA Report 1099-YYY says: “Yes. Yes. And YES.”
